Naelya

Naelya is a woodland elf, a healer and far too rational to believe in soulmates.

At 126 years old, Naelya is still young by elven standards, roughly equivalent to a human woman in her late twenties. She has spent years mastering the healing arts, combining an extensive knowledge of anatomy, medicinal plants, herbs and poisons with the ancient magic of her people.

Calm, intelligent and fiercely independent, Naelya has never been particularly good at blindly accepting tradition. She questions old beliefs, challenges authority when necessary and prefers knowledge over superstition. Beneath her composed nature lies a dry sense of humor, deep empathy and an insatiable curiosity about the world beyond her own people.

Her rarest gift is resonance healing. Through touch, Naelya can sense injuries, pain and subtle changes within another body, allowing her magic to find what ordinary eyes cannot see. She has always considered it simply another form of healing.
